AFL fans can see one of the game’s biggest personalities one by one in the boxing ring in August.
The inaugural All-Star Boxing – Footy Fight Night has been announced and will be held at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne.
AFL Great Dan Swan, Adam Cooney, Brendon Favola and Cameron Mooney are sure fighters at night, while more fights will be added in the coming weeks.

One-time Brownlow medalists Swann and Kuni will face off, while retired power forwards Favola and Mooney will face off in a heavyweight bout.
“It’s out of my comfort zone and something I’ve never done before – I never thought I’d box,” said Favola, 41.
“It’s exciting and scary because when you’re in that ring, there’s only you and the other person, and you can either go on canvas or be a winner. It’s going to be a challenge, and that’s why I’m doing it.”
Swann – who won Brownlow in 2011 – is keen to enter the ring against Kuni, who claimed the AFL’s most prestigious individual medal in 2008.
“I have a lot of respect for boxers because it’s the hardest training you’ve ever done, harder than what I’m used to, so let’s see how I go on a fight night,” Swann said.
“I have to try and stand six minutes after boxing.”
There will be three rounds of fighting in two minutes.
Tickets for the event will be available on TicketTech from noon on Thursday, when it will be broadcast at the main event.
