Brisbane’s marquee man Adam Reynolds has brought magic to the magic round, leading his team to a 38-point victory over Manley.
Reynolds, who played a key role in the victory, has won all six of his conversions, added a penalty goal and made a stunning personal effort as the C-Eagles were held goalless on Friday.
Halfback’s pinpoint kick was a highlight, setting several attempts for his teammates towards the end of his golden boot.

In a comment for Channel Nine, rugby league icon Paul Watin said, “A new king has arrived in town, a new king has arrived in Brisbane.”
Cameron Smith added, “That’s why they give him big bucks.”
“That’s why the Broncos bought him, for this kind of drama. He brings a lot of knowledge, a lot of experience for the Broncos. These are the kind of players they bring to the big moments and that’s what he’s doing.”
Reynolds bent and exhausted the Manley defenders late in the first half, trying a great chip and chase.

With the Broncos hot in the attack and not having much room to work, Reynolds put a perfect kick at the top of the defensive line, beating fullback Tom Trobozevic to bounce the ball, manly to score before diving between fullback and winger.
Fearing extraordinary drama, nine commentators, Smith and Vatin, likened it to the achievement of former pint-sized former Broncos halfback Alfie Langer.
Speaking at half-time, nine panelists Andrew Johns and Jonathan Thurston said Reynolds’ dominance could not be underestimated.
“He makes everyone around him confident,” Johns said.
“I hear people say in the first few weeks that they feel very comfortable in training because he is organizing his voice, he tells everyone what to do and it makes them better and then they can make their adjustments, especially their forwards.
“When they go ahead and at the end of their set – his kicking game puts Cherry on top.
“His kicking game is the best ever.”

“Since these forwards are playing fast ball for him, he is capable of kicking the front foot so he is keeping it exactly where he needs to be and this has put a lot of pressure on the Manly Sea Eagles,” Thurston added.
Asked if he thinks Reynolds is in the best form of his career, Thurston agrees.
“I said when I was backstage there, I said, ‘I think he’s playing his best football of all time, so that’s a good sign for the Broncos.’
In the Broncos, young Selwyn Cobbo, who scored an incredible hat-trick, and winger Corey Oates, who scored a late double, secured their place in the top six of the Broncos competition.
