Former Manley Premiership player Wayne Cunningham has been embroiled in a violent altercation that disrupted the opening night of Friday’s Magic Round, reports Michael Chamas. Sydney Morning Herald.
The incident – which took place when the Broncos met Manley – was captured on several phone cameras and spread across social media, with several fights between fans in the west stand of Suncorp Stadium.
Subsequently, the three involved were evicted from the game by the police and fined for misconduct.

In a video shared by 9News reporter Mark Gottlieb on Twitter, fans wearing jerseys to support multiple different parties were involved, with one viewer falling backwards from several rows of seats after being hit in the head.
Spotfire then spread to several more fans.
According to HeraldCunningham’s son Ethan was attacked by a group of men during the match, breaking a bone in his mouth and spending the night in hospital.
Owen and his other son, Ethan, and his companion rush to the rescue.
Cunningham, who recently wore a sling through shoulder surgery, was seen defending his face during an ugly ordeal.
“My eldest son Ethan was sitting with his girlfriend and they were making some abusive remarks to him,” Cunningham said. News Corporation

Cunningham has played 276 first grades since his debut in 1985.
He also played at the Origin level for the Queensland Maroons.
