Mid-season West Tigers recruit Brent Naden is ready for the long haul on the sidelines after tackling a formidable 30-4 foul on his side near Manley on Sunday.
After the Campbelltown clash, Michael Ennis predicted that Naden was sent for a lifting tackle on Jake Trobozevich in the 65th minute, with an eight-week ban.
But Corey Parker said the Tigers’ center could get a longer suspension.

“It was as bad as a spear tackle as we’ve seen for a long time,” Ennis said in Fox League coverage.
“Now, look, Steve Roach has made a great point: no player goes there to do it.
“But the truth of the matter is that he fell on his head and he was driven. That could be a really, really bad consequence for Jake Trobozevich.
“And I really think he’ll get about eight weeks’ suspension. I really do.”

Trobozevich played less of the intensity of the tackle, maintaining his reputation as the most handsome man to pull off a rugby league jersey.
“It wasn’t too bad, I think naturally, you’re trying to find the ground when you’re running and running fast, so it was a bit unfortunate for Brent Naden, I think,” Trobozevich told the Fox League.
“I know he didn’t mean it. There was no animosity. He’s very sorry.”
