In addition to the top eight formations in the competition, the AFL has announced the date and time of the next fixture block match this season.
The AFL Commission has confirmed that this year’s grand final will return at its traditional start at 2.30pm.
Round 16 to 19 will feature all current top nine teams on Thursday and Friday nights, with a weekly night game for rounds 16 and 17.
The AFL will take another trip north – its fourth this season – in Round 18 when Melbourne hosts Port Adelaide at Trigger Park.

Round 19 will also see a great lineup of high-anticipated matches with a bumper on Saturday 23 July where there will be a grand final rematch between the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne at the Marvel Stadium, where the Brisbane Lions and the Gold Coast Sons will face The Cubs at The Gabba.

The AFL’s Sir Doug Nichols Round – the league’s annual round that recognizes and celebrates indigenous players and culture – begins Friday night.
