In the wake of his victory at the Monaco Grand Prix, Red Bull driver Sergio Perez has given a big hint that the only remaining top seat for the 2023 Formula 1 season has been tied.
Only the second Red Bull seat among the top three teams currently in this year’s Constructors Championship is not counted.
Max Verstappen has a long-term contract with the team, while Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sange have both signed until 2024.

At Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have both been signed for next season.
This leaves Verstapen’s teammate’s identity as the only real mystery, but a conversation between Perez and team boss Christian Horner suggests the Mexican Red Bull will be in his third season.
“I probably signed too soon,” Perez said, adding that a seemingly unknown microphone was broadcasting the comment around the world, probably suggesting that the price of his inquiries had risen since his Monaco victory.
Perez is just 15 points behind Verstappen in the title race and six points behind second-placed Leclerc.
When asked about the status of his contract at the post-race media conference, Perez tried to divert attention from the status of his contract.
“I mean the bottle of champagne,” he said with a smile. “We’ll find out.”
Speaking before the Monaco race, Horner made it clear that the team was keen to retain Perez.
“She is OK. We are very happy with her. She has done very well so far this year.
“He’s done some great races and he’s a team player. I don’t think there’s anyone better than Pete Lane. So he’s doing a great job. “
