Wayne Bennett has signed another experienced forward as the Dolphins prepare for their NRL debut in 2023, with Jared Wallace agreeing to a two-year deal.
The 30-year-old has played 185 matches, first for Brisbane and then for the Gold Coast, where he has spent the last six seasons.
He has also played in six State of Origin matches for Queensland and lost to the Cowboys in the 2015 Grand Final in Brisbane.

“Jared is a very experienced front rower who was involved in the State of Origin team win and also felt the pressure of a grand final,” said Dolphins boss Terry Reeder.
“We’re really excited about the forward pack we’ve made so far, and Jared is just another part of that puzzle.
“He was also born in Queensland and has played for both the Broncos and the Titan, so understand how big and important our local derby will be against other teams in Queensland next year.”
Closing contracts with the Titans at the end of the season, Wallace will join the Dolphins as Mark Nichols, Ray Stone and Melbourne trio Felice Cowfussi, Kenny and Jesse Bromwich.
