Undefeated German boxer Musa Askan Yamak has died of a heart attack, according to reports.
The 38-year-old fighter fell into the ring while facing Ugandan veteran Hamza Wanderer in Munich, Germany.
Yamak, a light heavyweight with an unbeaten 8-0 record, took a big shot from Wanderer in the second round and tried to come out to fight in the third round, but Yamak went down in the ring before the start of the round.
The event was immediately canceled because doctors rushed to the scene and he was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead of a heart attack.

Turkish politician Hassan Turan said on Twitter, “We lost our compatriot Musa Askan Yamak, a boxer from Alukra who won the European and Asian Championships because of a heart attack at a young age.”
“My condolences to his bereaved family and fans.”
Yamak is proud of eight knockouts, becoming a fighter of Turkish descent in 2017. Her career got a big boost after winning the WBFed International title in 2021.
