The West Tigers will go down in hell to secure Cameron Siraldo as their new head coach and meet with Panthers assistant this week, according to Michael Chamas.
Reporters from The Nine and the Sydney Morning Herald report that the Tigers are pushing for Siraldo to replace Michael Maguire, who was sacked in early June.
“They’ve identified Cameron Siraldo as their favorite guy. He’s the one targeting him,” Chammas said in Nine’s half-time coverage of the Panthers’ clash with the Knights.

“He has a lot on his plate. It depends on (the football director) Tim Shins (Siraldo) that the West Tigers will succeed.
“The Tigers are also aware that the Bulldogs are roaming around, and they want Cameron Ciraldo to push the West Tigers.”
Following the departure of the Maguire Tigers, the departure of Trent Barrett from the Bulldogs and the departure of the Nathan Brown Warriors, three clubs are in the market for a new head coach.
